The New OBB Cook Book, Available Now!

We’re SO excited to introduce you all to our
National Bestseller!
“Savoring the Seasons with Our Best Bites”

Isn’t she a beauty??

This book has even more never-before-seen recipes than our last book, and they will stay exclusive to the book.  Here’s a teeeeny tiny sampling.  Seriously, there are SO many great recipes in this book.

Kate and I spent the last year up to our necks in dirty dishes as we created, tested, and fine-tuned some amazing recipes.  And we have a fantastic artistic team who worked on the layout and design of this book.  We love all of the little features and attention to detail that really make it a one-of-a-kind book.  Take the often-overlooked inside cover, for example.  Cuteness.

And like our last book, this one has a removable book mark that snaps right into any page in the book, and it’s got a conversion chart on it!

The book is spiral-bound, but with a hard back cover and the pages are glossy and splash resistant.  There is a photo (and sometimes multiple photos) for every single recipe.

Kate and I love cooking all year long, and one of our favorite things is the change of the seasons and the food that reflects that.  We love cooking with things that are fresh and in-season, and that’s the whole purpose of this book.  It’s separated by seasons:

So you’ll find creamy roasted butternut squash pasta and maple-glazed cookies in autumn, peppermint ice cream and garlic-rosemary prime rib in the winter, creamy asparagus soup and sweet roasted carrots in the spring, and creamy ice pops and grilled meats in the summer.  Sprinkled throughout the book are mini-tutorials on crafts, holiday activities, and foodie gifts, and there’s even a whole section of cupcakes and frostings!

You can find our book at many book stores, but here are some of the major ones:

Walmart and Walmart.com (Every Walmart in the US should have our book in stock, with the exception of the “neighborhood market” stores that don’t carry books at all.)

Deseret Book Stores and Deseret Book.com

Questions & Reviews

  1. I have a lot of favorite traditions, especially for Christmas. Not only do I look forward to our annual Christmas cookie exchange we hold at work (where I’m ALWAYS looking for the next best recipe for this year’s cookie), I’m also VERY excited to go cut down our tree and get the house decorated. My husband and I started this tradition right after we got married, and have continued since we had our son. The whole adventure is absolutely magical! Last year it actually snowed when we were there! (We live in SC, so we don’t often get snow that early in the season.)

  2. The volunteer fire department used to send “Santa and an elf” to my mom’s house. The kids were mesmerized. It is something I will never forget and wish they still did so we could continue with our grandchildren.

  3. We like to have a familiy night on Christmas eve. We have homemade soups and rolls and some good desserts and then a program with all the kids, grandkids, that can come. Maybe I’ll find some new desserts to add to our Christmas eve get-together. Thanks.

  4. Christmas to celebrate Christ! A Tradition I is place a small unwrapped gift for every family member on the tree to start the fun of gift giving.

  5. I love your first cookbook and bought one for each of our granddaughters. Can’t wait to see the next one.

  6. My favorite holiday tradition was when my papa was still alive and every Christmas we would celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve at Nanna & Papa’s house with take out chinese food from the same place every year and open presents. It hasn’t been the same since he has been gone but I remember every year like it was yesterday!

  7. I think this new cookbook looks awesome!! My favorite holiday tradition is when we go camping over Thanksgiving with a large group of close friends and everyone brings a part of our Thanksgiving feast. We line up the tables and bring out the food and share this wonderful day with wonderful friends for which we are very thankful! =D
