The New OBB Cook Book, Available Now!

We’re SO excited to introduce you all to our
National Bestseller!
“Savoring the Seasons with Our Best Bites”

Isn’t she a beauty??

This book has even more never-before-seen recipes than our last book, and they will stay exclusive to the book.  Here’s a teeeeny tiny sampling.  Seriously, there are SO many great recipes in this book.

Kate and I spent the last year up to our necks in dirty dishes as we created, tested, and fine-tuned some amazing recipes.  And we have a fantastic artistic team who worked on the layout and design of this book.  We love all of the little features and attention to detail that really make it a one-of-a-kind book.  Take the often-overlooked inside cover, for example.  Cuteness.

And like our last book, this one has a removable book mark that snaps right into any page in the book, and it’s got a conversion chart on it!

The book is spiral-bound, but with a hard back cover and the pages are glossy and splash resistant.  There is a photo (and sometimes multiple photos) for every single recipe.

Kate and I love cooking all year long, and one of our favorite things is the change of the seasons and the food that reflects that.  We love cooking with things that are fresh and in-season, and that’s the whole purpose of this book.  It’s separated by seasons:

So you’ll find creamy roasted butternut squash pasta and maple-glazed cookies in autumn, peppermint ice cream and garlic-rosemary prime rib in the winter, creamy asparagus soup and sweet roasted carrots in the spring, and creamy ice pops and grilled meats in the summer.  Sprinkled throughout the book are mini-tutorials on crafts, holiday activities, and foodie gifts, and there’s even a whole section of cupcakes and frostings!

You can find our book at many book stores, but here are some of the major ones:

Amazon.com

Walmart and Walmart.com (Every Walmart in the US should have our book in stock, with the exception of the “neighborhood market” stores that don’t carry books at all.)

Barnes and Noble

Sam’s Clubs and Costco stores:  Selected Stores, over 150 across the US

Deseret Book Stores and Deseret Book.com

Questions & Reviews

  1. Thanksgiving!! Before we eat, we go around the table & ask each person what they are thankful for =)

  2. I cannot wait for this new book, so I can add even more of your recipes into my family dinners. The Halloween recipes are sure to come in handy, since my Halloween meals are limited right now. My favorite holiday tradition is one I have started with my little man for Halloween. We set out a big bucket of candy for the trick-or-treaters and keep a small bucket of our own candy to eat while we snuggle up under a blanket and watch the Nightmare Before Christmas. We always have a second bucket for popcorn too and we love to sing along with the movie songs.

  3. We live in NM and our family tradition is to make homemade tamales and posole on New Years Eve. We make spiced wine as the tamales are steaming. We have our family and friends over to eat and then my husband lights fireworks at midnight. Love the holidays!
I love your first cookbook and can’t wait for the new one to be released.

  4. Am excited for your new cook book! I want one and so do my daughter and daughter-in-law! So it would be nice to win one of the books. My daughter=in-law is from Ukrain. And She has cooked pracrically everything in your first book. Now she cooks american food as good as anyone else!

  5. One of our Christmas holiday traditions is to have a “Special Dinner”. It is referred to as “The Special Dinner” by all of the kids. It was started years ago when our children were small. We get out the best dishes and goblets for sparkling cider and use two forks and have at least three courses. We have English Crackers at each place setting and wear our paper crowns found in the crackers and read the jokes through dinner. It was a great way to teach table manners and start a tradition of our own and impress upon our children the importance of the season celebrating the birth of our Savior. Love the Holidays!!!!!

  6. modern design and layout, vibrant colors, spatter hardy and glazy pages, and above all, great tasting recipes – WOW and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

  7. I love cookbooks and can’t wait to see this one. I try to buy a cookbook from everyone of my favorite sites. Congratulations
