Crispy bacon on a plate

Air Fried Bacon

An easy method to cook bacon in an air fryer
Prep Time 2 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 12 minutes
Servings8 Slices

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon see notes

Instructions

  • I like to remove the tray from my air fryer, simply to lower my bacon further away from the heating element to reduce splatters, and line my insert with foil. Alternately, you can simply place bacon on your tray/basket.
  • Air fry bacon at 350°F for about 10 minutes, flipping over half way through until desired doneness is achieved.
  • Keep in mind all air fryers cook differently, and thicker cut bacon will take longer to cook than thinner cut bacon.
  • I suggest checking your bacon early to determine perfect cooking time depending on how crispy you like it.
  • Use tongs to remove finished bacon and drip dry on a rack or drain on paper towels.
  • Wait for bacon grease to cool and then discard foil. Or save warm oil in a container to re-use.

Notes

All air fryers are different sizes, as are different brands and cuts of bacon.  Feel free to place in as many strips as can comfortably fit in your air fryer.
