Turkey Artichoke Panini

Smoked Turkey and Artichoke Panini

An awesome grilled sandwich bursting with flavor from garlic-herb spread and tangy artichoke.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices rustic sourdough bread
  • 3 tabelspoons mayonnaise or garlic herb sandwich spread or however much you need for your bread!
  • 4 slices mild white cheese havarti, swiss or provolone
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • black pepper
  • marinated artichoke hearts
  • butter or olive oil for toasting

Instructions

  • Spread each slice of bread with desired amount of mayo or sandwich spread.
  • Top both slices with cheese
  • Add turkey, layer tomatoes and sprinkle with pepper. Add artichokes and then close sandwich.
  • Heat a panini press or a skillet to medium-low heat. You can drizzle the outside of your sandwich with olive oil, or spread butter, or if using a skillet, you can generously butter your skillet. Toast each side of sandwich until golden brown and cheese is melted.
